ERPNext's built-in auto-attendance processor reads the Employee Checkin records and generates Attendance documents — Present, Absent, Half Day — based on your existing shift policies.

Frappe HRMS payroll uses the same data

Frappe HRMS reads the Attendance records created by auto-attendance. Leave deductions, LOP calculations, overtime, and shift allowances all process from accurate real-time data.

All ERPNext HR reports work out of the box

Monthly Attendance Sheet, Late Entry report, Early Exit report — they all work because the data is in the standard ERPNext Employee Checkin doctype format.

Secure, signed webhook — no data exposed

Yes, real time. The moment an employee's face check-in is confirmed, a secure webhook fires to your ERPNext instance. The Employee Checkin record appears in ERPNext within a few seconds — no export file, no daily batch job, no manual import.
ERPNext v14 and v15, including self-hosted and Frappe Cloud. It works with the new Frappe HRMS app and also with the HR module in older ERPNext versions. If you're on v13, reach out — we can advise on compatibility.
In ERPNext. Once the integration is connected, ERPNext is the source of truth for employee data. You add, edit, or deactivate employees in ERPNext — those changes sync into TheCheckIn automatically. The only thing done in TheCheckIn is face registration: each employee registers their face once in the app (since ERPNext has no equivalent for that).
The integration does a one-time reconciliation — it tries to match existing TheCheckIn employees to ERPNext employees by email. Matched records are linked and their attendance history is preserved. Unmatched records can be linked manually. After that first sync, ERPNext takes over as the source of truth.
