Sage 300 Integration

Connect Sage 300 Time & Attendance with Face Recognition Check-in

Sage 300 handles your payroll. Your employees punch in on a biometric clock that costs $400+ to replace when it breaks — and it always breaks eventually. You're also spending time every month reconciling the terminal data with Sage.

TheCheckIn puts face recognition attendance on each employee's Android phone. They check in from their device. At the end of the pay period, you export a timesheet file that imports directly into Sage 300's Time and Attendance module. Payroll runs from accurate data, not from paper corrections.

No biometric terminal. No maintenance contract. No one at the door wiping their finger 6 times because the reader is dirty.

How attendance data moves from TheCheckIn to Sage 300

A straightforward flow — face check-in on the phone, timesheet in Sage 300 at the end of the period.

1

Employee checks in on their phone

Face recognition with liveness detection on the Android app. Check-in time, check-out time, and working hours are recorded automatically in TheCheckIn's dashboard. GPS also logs the location if you need it for remote or multi-site teams.

2

Export timesheet at pay period end

From the admin dashboard, export the period's attendance as Excel or CSV. The export includes employee ID, date, in-time, out-time, total hours, and attendance status — formatted to match Sage 300's import layout.

3

Import into Sage 300 T&A

Import the file into Sage 300's Time and Attendance module. From there, payroll processes normally — Sage 300 calculates pay based on actual hours worked, overtime, and any deductions. No manual entry, no corrections at month end.

Why companies replace their biometric clock with TheCheckIn

Biometric terminals break and cost $400+ to replace

TheCheckIn runs on phones employees already own. If someone's phone breaks, they get a new phone. No replacement terminal, no vendor support contract.

One terminal means a queue at 9am

Every employee checks in separately on their own phone — no bottleneck at the door. Face recognition takes about 5 seconds. No one is late because the terminal was backed up.

Fingerprint readers fail for workers with worn hands

Warehouse staff, cleaners, and manual workers often have fingerprints that don't read well — especially toward end of shift. Face recognition works regardless of what their hands look like.

Works for remote and field teams too

A fixed biometric terminal can't track workers at satellite offices, warehouses, or client sites. TheCheckIn's GPS check-in covers remote employees too — all in the same dashboard and Sage 300 export.

Questions about TheCheckIn & Sage 300

TheCheckIn exports attendance as a CSV or Excel file at the end of each pay period. You import that file into Sage 300's Time and Attendance module using the standard import process. The file format matches Sage 300's expected import template so you don't need any middleware or connector software.
TheCheckIn captures exact check-in and check-out times. Total hours worked are calculated automatically. Sage 300's Time and Attendance module then applies your overtime rules and shift policies based on those hours — that calculation happens in Sage 300, not in TheCheckIn. The data TheCheckIn sends is accurate time data, and Sage handles the payroll rules.
Yes. Each location is set up as a branch in TheCheckIn. All branches share the same admin dashboard. When you export for Sage 300, you can export all branches together or filter by branch if your Sage 300 setup processes payroll by location.
Yes. You can run both in parallel for a month or two — compare the data, make sure employees are comfortable with the app, and confirm the Sage 300 import works smoothly. Once you're confident, retire the terminal. There's no forced cutover date.
